Bug#517411: Further investigation

I've cobbled together a version that builds and runs, but the fix is 
very invasive, and I cant really test it. Basically I just manually 
applied the 13_cdrecord_to_wodim.patch

It seems like *some* of this has already moved upstream and I dont want 
to break things. Someone more familiar with the code needs to do this.
