Hello The tablet requires the latest wacom X driver release for touch support (the driver in Debian is too old). I tried 0.10.7 and currently 0.10.8 is available. The version in Debian is 0.10.5.
The kernel driver in 2.6.34 kernel is too old and does not recognize the tablet at all. It is possible to update the driver from the linuxwacom sources (tried 0.8.8-7, currently 0.8.8-8 is available). However, the driver does not compile against linux-headers. Full compiled kernel source is required to build the driver. Alternatively the wacom.c and supporting files could be probably patched in the Debian kernel.
