after installing extlinux, the theme in the /etc/defaults/extlinux file is set to "debian" the debian theme however in the files /boot/extlinux/themes/debian/.. has paths set to /boot/extlinux/themes/debian-squeeze/.. and so boot is failing. Setting the theme to debian-squeeze corrects the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-rc6-box (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages extlinux depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.32 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.10.2-9 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib Versions of packages extlinux recommends: ii syslinux-common 2:3.86+dfsg-3 Kernel loader which uses a FAT, ex ii syslinux-themes-debian 3-1 utilities for the syslinux bootloa extlinux suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
