Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.10.8-1
Severity: minor

Hello,

When you enter a number or formula which size exceeds the cell width
(e.g. "=pi()"), the column expands automatically (assuming default format
and size).

The expected behaviour would be to adapt the format by reducing the number of
decimals or by using scientific format (as it happens when you copy the result
into a new cell).

Thanks,
Frédéric
