Hi, since some days (I can't tell when exactly), when watching my dvb channels on my laptop (sid, where I'm launching reportbug), sent by my server (running squeeze), the sound is intermittent. Sometimes I can watch a given channel for hours without problems, at other times it stops so frequently that it is not bearable. I use: vdr-sxfe --tcp --reconnect --post=tvtime I tried various combinations: * Live viewing : sound intermittent: often not bearable * Recording, then watching with other players, over ssh (mplayer, vlc, …): no problem * Recording, then watching through vdr-sxfe: no problem. This basic test IMHO shows that the problem is not in the network between the server and the client (and furthermore, if network was an issue, I'd have problems with the video and not with the audio…) I see nothing in the logs on the server side, nor in the console where vdr-sxfe is launched. So there is a problem, somewhere in the chain, when watching TV live. Please ask for the details you might need !
