Just one question: there is one minus sign between the
max-connection-per-server and min-split-size. Is it supposed to be there
or is it a typo?

After putting a notice about the behaviour change in the NEWS file, yes.
Otherwise, you will have some headaches with people upgrading from to
squeeze once it gets released.
