Package: mp3burn
Severity: normal

Your package currently depends on "wodim" and the transitional "cdrecord"
package, which solely provides a symlink from the name cdrecord to wodim.

Could you please change the dependency to only refer to "wodim" (including
any command lines, since the symlink will no longer be available).
There is no use in depending on cdrecord, if you could just change the command
from /usr/bin/cdrecord to /usr/bin/wodim directly.

Do not trust Joerg Schillings claim that original cdrecord will be available
in Debian again. He has no authority to do this claim, it is just his wishful
thinking as the main cdrecord author. There is still some _doubt_ on the
licensing of the newer cdrecord versions and therefore there is little
chance that his software will return. Instead the future probably is along
the lines of libburnia, which is a completely independent project.

Apart from definitely resolving the legal issues that MAY affect cdrecord
(I write "MAY" and "doubt" since any claim that they actually exist will only
trigger a flame war by Joerg), they do have newer features and and active
development community. And of course, there is a maintainer "compatible" with
upstream, which does not seem to apply to "cdrecord" ...
There is a wrapper that seems to be largely cdrecord compatible called
"cdrskin". On the long run, it might be interesting to allow both
wodim and cdrskin (and thus libburnia) to perform the actual burning.
