I observed the same behavior with LDAP, and I think this is intentional. If there are too many users, as is generally the case with remote NSS modules, it is useless to list them all. However, once a user has logged on, it should appear since it is part of the recent users list. If it does not, that would indeed be a bug. Cheers, -- .''`.
