Hi! _Dive into Python_ is released under the GNU FDL license (version 1.1), although with no unmodifiable & unremovable parts (i.e. Invariant Sections, Front/Back-Cover Texts, ...). Nonetheless, the consensus on debian-legal is that a work licensed under the terms of the GNU FDL v1.1 does not meet the DFSG, even if it does not include unmodifiable & unremovable parts. Consequently _Dive into Python_ does not comply with the DFSG.
