Severity: important

kadmind does not appear to listen on IPv6 by default. I'm pretty sure
that I didn't disable IPv6 support or really fool with the configuration
much at all.

In the following:

castro ok % netstat -tan | grep 749
  tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:749 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

I would expect to see a tcp6 line as well. This is severity important
because full IPv6 support is a release goal and because it's 2010.

If you need more information about the system in question, please let me
know since this bug report was filed on another machine.
