I checked this issue against the first reported error message: it is
the same type of problem, with

script_frac("0.6").

the file is not opened correct and with

script_frac("0,6").

it is opened correct. So this looks like a problem with an
international environment (here German) where comma and period are used
in opposite way than in English.
