Strangely enough, it does work fine for me, using the same kernel, even: spider:~$ traceroute6 -vn www.kame.net traceroute to www.kame.net (2001:200:0:8002:203:47ff:fea5:3085) from 2002:121a:12:1e1c:2a0:ccff:fe57:a34e, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets 1 2002:121a:12:1e1c::3 0.416 ms 0.243 ms 0.214 ms 2 2002:801e:1::801e:1 0.4 ms !N 0.277 ms !N 0.29 ms !N Linux spider 2.6.8-2-k7 #1 Thu May 19 18:03:29 JST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux I suspect a local problem of some sort. If you traceroute6 to a specific numeric IPv6 address do things behave any better? noah
