Package: gv
Version: 1:3.7.1-1
Severity: normal

When gs outputs an error message, it is not visible, probably due
to an incorrect work area in the "Ghostscript Messages" window, or
something like that.

For instance, try with gs as a script early in your $PATH:

#!/bin/sh
echo "Fail!" >&2
exit 1

I've attached a snapshot of the "Ghostscript Messages" window: it
is empty! When I click on its scroll bar, the message appears.
