OK, I've done some research on config files in .kde/share/config/ I've found this file: settingspluginrc with inside just one line:
SavedProxyType=0 Rename that file with another name solved my problem (didn't try to restart KDE yet). 'Enable proxy' from 'tools' seems to work again. I don't know what script or program writes that file there, maybe it's just an old file that maybe annoys 'a new version of something' ... Is anybody able to reproduce this thing? thanks :) , -- cre 0xDD486692
