Package: fai-setup-storage Version: 3.4.2 Severity: important setup-storage uses readlink to resolve LVM device names (/dev/<volume group>/<logical volume>), which are symbolic links, to canonical paths. In squeeze, these point to /dev/dm-*, which are created by udev and their names depend on the (varying) order the kernel detects such devices. Hence the results are not stable across reboots, but setup-storage puts those resolved device names into /etc/fstab. The simple and proper solution is not to use readlink here.
