Yes, I did try it, and it does support well my iPod 80GB. I tried Amarok 2 for about a month but it didn't feel comfortable enough with my large collection (around 500GB of MP3 files) so I fell back to Amarok 1.4. I've been watching Amarok's blog closely and will give it another try when I feel Amarok 2 looks ripe enough. Thanks for your interest !
