Package: release-notes Severity: minor Tags: squeeze The "kernel-metapackage" section of the release notes includes this text:
<para> For the more adventurous there is an easy way to compile your own custom kernel on &debian;. Install the <systemitem role="package">kernel-package</systemitem> tool and read the documentation in <filename>/usr/share/doc/kernel-package</filename>. </para> AFAIK kernel-package is mostly deprecated these days in favour of the upstream 'make deb-pkg' target. Maybe this should be dropped or updated? (cc:ed to debian-kernel) Cheers, Julien
