I'd love to see that crap go - but will be on holidays for a couple of weeks. I'd be more than happy to apply a patch to packaging in SVN once returned, an NMU would also not be out of order considering that us "maintainers" are busy with real life and are currently really struggling to pull together changes wanted for squeeze. We do have a current release team grant for upload with the changes already committed to our SVN.
