Plone developers explicitly suggests the use of the Unified Installer for Linux and they consider it their (only) supported deployment platform. For this reason, together with the complexity of the distribution of the last versions of Plone, shipped as several python eggs with strict versioned dependencies, led to the request of removal from unstable of the Plone package. As suggested by upstream, the recommended tool for installing Plone on a Debian system is the Unified Installer, which is downloadable from http://plone.org. Is this text enough? Fabio
