I've added the following:
    DEB_BUILD_ARCH_OS := $(shell dpkg-architecture -qDEB_BUILD_ARCH_OS)
    DEB_HOST_GNU_CPU := $(shell dpkg-architecture -qDEB_HOST_GNU_CPU)

What architectures would it FTBFS on?
