Package: rakudo
Version: 0.1~2010.01-1
Severity: wishlist

A new upstream version (2010.07) has been released some months ago.
Currently due to the current Parrot release in Debian (v2.6.0) which does
not let to build the latest rakudo (2010.10) (bug #601704), the 2010.07
release is the only available, so please consider packaging it.

In the last days I've tried to package it by myself, and it seems that the
new release also closes the bug #585762 and may also close other bugs.

If you don't have enough time to do it, let me know if I could help.

thanks
