Package: dpkg Version: 1.15.8.5 Severity: wishlist With the addition of --path-exclude and --path-include, it would be nice to have a way to remove excluded files from the installed system, you typically need this when you setup the file exclusion.
I suggest to add a new action called "--prune-excluded" for this. Combined with --no-act it would just print a list of files that would be removed. On the opposite, maybe dpkg-query could have a --list-missing option to display a list of files recorded in the database that are not present on the system.
