The reverseVideo X resource and the +rv/-rv command line options affect the reverse video feature in strange ways. It seems to get inverted rather than set, though even that doesn't explain why there is a mark for the menu option if the reverseVideo resource is true and no CLI option is given, but no mark in all other cases.
