Hello Andres, It has been my understanding that gksu would use sudo if the corresponding gconf setting was set. Would that not address your problem ? Why kind of argument would you like to pass to gksu ? A related problem is that su-to-root does not know whether the system is setup for su ans sudo, and pam will not tell it.
