The error comes from a code that is new in 3.0 and is some kind of reimplementation of the locking code. Currently it supports only "mainstream" hardware architectures and even includes assembly-optimized parts. Perhaps using atomic_ops library would help. Raising the severity, as the libfbclient2 binary package has built on these architectures frrom firebird2.5 source so we have a regression.
