Yep, here is the choices at this particular moment:

1) leave the package -evdev upgraded [1] and install new package
2) set the package -evdev as non-upgraded

Cupt scores 1) slightly better than 2). We want the opposite in
most cases. Most, because I can imagine situations where 2) may be
preferred.
