Happened here too (1:0.3.16-3.1). One machine just lost all of its records after a power failure. Here's the filesystem info:
/dev/mapper/vg5a-root on / type ext4 (rw,noatime,barrier=1) If this can also happen after a kernel panic, then uptimed's not really all that useful, unless it's only intended to track how long a machine stays up between safe, intentional reboots.
