Hello, On http://people.debian.org/~bubulle/samba-test/, you'll soon find packages which you may want to try. I just applied the patch from Samba's Bugzilla and recompiled these package. They're currently being uploaded and should be ready to download in about 10 minutes or so. If they fix this file descriptors leak problem, please report.
