I don't have an amd64, so I'd have difficulty trouble-shooting this. Your best bet is probably to report the crash to Sun, as the link above suggests.
I did so. But as I've already said the version of Azureus from the official homepage works great here. So the problem seems to be debian-related in some way. I've noticed that Azureus from the official homepage comes with own libswt-*.so dynamic libraries while libswt-gtk-3.1-java is currently kept back in the unstable distribution: # apt-get dist-upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Calculating upgrade... Done The following packages have been kept back: libswt-gtk-3.1-java 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded. # apt-get install libswt-gtk-3.1-java Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libswt-gtk-3.1-java: Depends: libswt-gtk-3.1-jni (= 3.0+3.1M4-4) but 3.0+3.1M4-3 is to be installed E: Broken packages Max -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
