Any idea how they ended up like that? According to the build log, for example <URL: https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=sysvinit;ver=2.88dsf-13;arch=amd64;stamp=1289786815 >, the files are executable in the package. I have no idea how this could be caused by the initscripts package, so I suspect the cause is elsewhere.
