Please unblock package k3b I'm requesting this unblock for a couple of reasons: 1) New upstream is bug-fix only. 2.0.1 ===== Bugfixes: * Freeze on ripping Audio CD using external encoder to MP3 or FLAC (236466) (Closes: #581598). * Drag and drop from Dolphin doesn't work (242745) (Closes: #600588) * Symbolic links are not added to a project when a folder is added recursively (243555) (Closes: #581070). * Install app icons to hicolor so that they are visible in non KDE WMs (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619731) * Translation fixes * Overburn doesn't work (241534) * Data part of mixed CD is not written - searching for previous session doesn't work (246798) * Fixed the speed comparision and formatting when cdrecord changes the writing speed automatically (246262, 243482) (Closes: #608146) Upstream code changes do not seem to be intrusive. Get relevant (without translations) diff with $ debdiff k3b_2.0.0-1.dsc k3b_2.0.1-1.dsc | filterdiff --clean -x *.po -x *.desktop -x *.notifyrc -x *.actions -x *.protocol 2) Closes a significant number of debian bugs (4 bugs + 1 merged). 3) Very good track record in unstable: more than 4 months without regressions [1]. 4) It's a standalone desktop app (its libs have no external rdepends). 5) Some packaging changes could have been avoided but they are not intrusive either. I guess Fathi didn't plan to push it to Squeeze originally. However, I think it would be useful for Squeeze users and this would not hurt release process. Thank you for considering.
