Package: readaloud
Version: 1.2.0-1
Severity: normal

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "readaloud". Please note that I
am not currently a subscriber to the debian-mentors mailing list.

* Package name    : readaloud
  Version         : 1.2.0-1
  Upstream Author : Joseph Patterson <jos...@photosessionsltd.com>
* URL             : http://readaloud.sourceforge.net
* License         : GPL
  Section         : text

It builds these binary packages:
readaloud - Reading program for plain text books

My motivation for maintaining this package is: I first created it in 2004
and continue to like it.

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/r/readaloud
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main
contrib non-free
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/r/readaloud/readaloud_1.1.0-2.deb

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards
 joseph patterson

>> * License         : GPL

The license reference is clear as is. On any current system,
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL is a softlink to
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-3.

>> readaloud - Public Domain reading program for plain text books
>I think the license of the package should not be in the short description.
I agree that the adjectives "Public Domain" are non-essential and will
change the short description to "Reading program for plain text books".

>Then you are the upstream developer?
Yes, I am the upstream developer.

>links need fixing
