 Both works fine for me, on amd64/powerpc squeeze and i386 sid, and I just 
 installed procmeter3 (to check this) and not modify anything.

 On i386,

 and it works. I consider its segfault depends on each environment (I'm
 not sure what it is), not always occur, so I proposed to downgrade severity.
