Gtk::Main is a C++ class inside a C++ > namespace. Well, something has to run gtk_init. Whatever it is. I don’t know how Gtk::Main works, and actually I don’t want to know, since it would mean doing C++ and I have better things to do. Now, since no one with knowledge of C++ and gtkmm bothered to reply, I’m afraid you are alone in the dark with that. I’m not applying the change you are proposing since I don’t understand its possible consequences. The RT doesn’t consider this bug RC, it’s not going to be removed from testing. Bring your issue with upstream if you want it fixed, since you obviously have a design disagreement with them. Since upstream doesn’t develop the panel anymore, they are probably going to send you to hell. And, frankly, I don’t care. Cheers, -- .''`.
