Package: ntop
Version: 3:4.0.3+dfsg1-1
Severity: important

When I go to install ntop in aptitude, it prints this:

        Preconfiguring packages ...
        /tmp/ntop.config.129031: 102: ntop: not found
ntop failed to preconfigure, with exit status 127

Then ntop shows with a C in aptitude.

When I try to purge ntop with aptitude, it prints this:

I added "exit" as the 2nd line of /etc/init.d/ntop and then the aptitude purge
printed this:

        Removing ntop ...
Purging configuration files for ntop ...
        Processing triggers for man-db ...
        Press return to continue.

I've done everything mentioned above more than once, so it seems 100%
reproducible for me.

Please let me know if I can help with further testing or something.

Thank you!

Take care, - Jason
