Package: apt-p2p
Version: 0.1.6
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

Log files, which are created in /var/log/apt-p2p.log are huge[1] and there's no way in config file to make them smaller (SPEW is set to no). To make things worse default logrotate settings are weekly and nocompress...

[1] Depending on machine, it's 100-150 MB a day (after changing logrotate to daily) on machine running 24/7 with public IP and apt-p2p version 0.1.5. On 0.1.6 with default (weekly) rotation, but running only a few hours a day and behind NAT (no ports forwarded) they're 20 or more MBs, which is also much.
