Package: qemu Version: 0.7.0-4 Severity: normal After booting from a DOS floppy image, I run "dir" on the guest to display the contents of the floppy image. Then I do "eject fda" from the monitor and "dir" on the guest, and DOS correctly fails. Then "change fda some-other.img" on the monitor, and "dir" in the guest immediately causes a segmentation fault.
The same behavior can be observed when booting from a CD-ROM. It does not matter whether the media was booted from or not, or whether the guest OS saw the media or not -- changing any media causes a segfault when the guest OS tries to read the new media. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages qemu depends on: ii bochsbios 2.1.1+20041109-3 BIOS for the Bochs emulator ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.7+1.2.8cvs20041007-5 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii openhackware 0.4.1-1 OpenFirmware emulator for PowerPC ii proll 18-1 JavaStation PROM 2.x compatible re ii vgabios 0.5c-1 VGA BIOS software for the Bochs an ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime Versions of packages qemu recommends: ii debootstrap 0.3.1.4 Bootstrap a basic Debian system ii sharutils 1:4.2.1-13 shar, unshar, uuencode, uudecode --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
