Package: xautolock Version: 1:2.1-7.1 Severity: normal When activating locker by placing the mouse pointer i a hot corner xautolock leaves it there and starts the locker. This often leads to the locker beeing started again after unlocking (it's even documented in the man page).
In my opinion the proper remedy would be to move the pointer to some other position before starting locker if that is done because the pointer was left in a hot corner (if locker is started because of timeout or -locknow I suppose moving the pointer could be considered destroying valuable state). Currently I work around this problem by setting locker to a script that starts with 'xwit -root -warp 200 200'. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.7 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (101, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xautolock depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18lenny7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxss1 1:1.1.3-1 X11 Screen Saver extension library Versions of packages xautolock recommends: ii xlockmore-gl [xlockmore] 1:5.31-1 Lock X11 display until password is ii xscreensaver 5.05-3+lenny1 Automatic screensaver for X xautolock suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
