Package: ezstream Severity: important Tags: patch
The existing Debian-provided manual page is incoreect and misleading; it does not provide sufficient information to use ezstream, and refers to upstream info documentation that simply does not exist. Upstream source now includes a much more comprehensive manpage and there does not appear ot be any reason not to package it. The attached patch removes the poor Debian-specific manpage and installs the upstream manpage in its place; it also removes the rules for generating the Debian manpage from sgml source and for building non-existent info files, and removes the build dependency on docbook-to-man and dh-buildinfo. The curerent manpage is so poor, and the upstream manpage so much better, that I wish I could justify raising the severity to critical, but I cannot. Do we have any wriggle-room this close to release to get it fixed?
