Package: calendarserver Severity: normal I could confirm the bug for most part of it but I couldn't see any errors in my log file. I have a few quick queries for you.
1. When does the error get filed in the log? I have been using the calendarserver for quite sometime but have never come across that error message in error.log? So what specific action causes it? 2. Do you have any idea for what /var/run/caldavd/tasks is used? This folder also gets created but is not deleted when the server reboots? If this tasks folder contains important permanent information then we should consider moving this to /var/lib/caldavd during the next upgrade which has this bug-fix. 3. Lastly I believe it should suffice if I set the DataRoot to /var/lib/caldavd in /etc/caldavd.plist?
