according to the logrotate man page the script is executed after compression: "The sharedscripts means that the postrotate script will only be run once (after the old logs have been com‐ pressed) [...]". This was the case with lenny, but is not with squeeze. As a result at the time of the script execution I see log.1 instead of log.1.gz. Please fix the man page or revert the change of order.
