Package: gdb64
Version: 7.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

gdb64 package provide a version of gdb for debugging x86_64.

But it is a 64 bits binary and don't run on 32 bit system. That's a shame
for a package provided by arch=i386. I don't think there other binary
(not lib) that is 64 bits for arch=i386.

gcc is a 32 bits binary, but can generate 64 bits binary, so I expect
gdb64 to be the same (ie 32 bits binary).

Why, because even if the system can't run 64 bits binary, it can be
usefull in target remote mode (against qemu or another machine).
And for peple that want to debug native 64 bits binary, it won't change
anything (only less deps : no need special 64 bit version of ncurses and
readline).
