I have no problems applying the patch if it's already accepted by the
upstream authors. But, having taken a look, it's not in the latest
upstream release (uploaded yesterday, btw), i don't see it in the list
of "official" patches, and didn't see a link or commit reference in the
bug report provided here. If someone wants to do a little legwork i'll
happily include the patch.
