That sounds a bit like the above. Could you try if that is what you want? (i.e. add a '-' as first part of Update:, run checkupdate and remove the '-' again).
Sorry. I should have checked what packages are in squeeze before sending that last message. Apparently, the 4.3.0 package is not part of squeeze (or at least is not part of the squeeze one of my "between test and production" machines that is running squeeze and so will need special treatment. I will use a test machine but will have to test out 4.3.0 using just contrib or non-free due to space and time considerations.
