What do you call the applet? What happens if you call "sensors" on the
command line?

sensors-applet. And also now the entire option isn't there anymore after readding it to the gnome panel. It was i believe part of libsensors4. And it just shows.

so once more no acpi temperature i don't know why it's not there but it just isn't. I think it might be something with the new kernel since there's no proc/thermal_zone.
