Package: bluez Version: 4.87-2 Severity: normal Tags: sid When suspending with the bluetooth turned off the bluetooth device cannot be initiated (turned on) after resuming. Even though using a gnome applet for enabling bluetooth or blueman they show the bluetooth is enabled, no devices are shown in the menus and no connections can be established. When suspending with the bluetooth turned on the bluetooth is initiated automatically and there is no problem with connecting to the bluetooth devices. I have not tested hibernate function as I had not yet get it working.
This is a big issue for me as I tend to use a bluetooth keyboard for the slate tablet PC I'm using everyday at school. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid System: Aptosid 2011-01 "Γῆρας" APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.37-1.slh.1-aptosid-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages bluez depends on: ii dbus 1.4.6-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libbluetooth3 4.87-2 Library to use the BlueZ Linux Blu ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcap-ng0 0.6.5-1 An alternate POSIX capabilities li ii libdbus-1-3 1.4.6-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.1-1+b1 The GLib library of C routines ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-17 userspace USB programming library ii lsb-base 3.2-27 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii module-init-tools 3.12-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii python-dbus 0.83.1-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-gobject 2.21.4+is.2.21.3-1 Python bindings for the GObject li ii udev 166-1 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo bluez recommends no packages. bluez suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
