$PYTHON_DEPEND is supposed to contain lists of alternatives of packages that ensure /usr/bin/python will exist. However, the list contains e.g. python2.6, which doesn't (transitively) depend on python-minimal.

Just double checking here.  A python package will need to depend on one of:

 "python | python-dev | python-all | python-all-dev"

That's right.

Or will the python2.Y-dev packages still work?
