Hi all

I still hit the same issue every time I have to reconfigure my slapd (2.4.23-7) package. The workaround mentioned in Message #10 still works (I don't actually have to stop slapd).

#> dpkg-reconfigure slapd
On second shell
#> mv /etc/ldap/slapd.d /etc/ldap/slapd.d.old
On first shell, complete my slapd configuration

And everything works, very cumbersome though, as I have a whole number of machines where this has to be done and failed to find a way to automate it yet - so I wanted to check if there was any progress on this bug report.

Regards

Samule Suter
