Hi Reuben, Do you have NUMLOCK on by any chance? I can reproduce this behaviour here with NUMLOCK on and turning NUMLOCK off fixes it! This seems to have been around for a while, the lenny version also appears to suffer from the same issue. I had a look at the upstream bug list and it seems this has already been reported[1] back in 2006.
