Hi Eckhart, I'm sorry but I won't split the package. It makes no sense to me. The exit status of the init.d script is 0 when no VPN is started, the warning is only visual. I don't know why you get those "failed". If you think there's a problem in the script, please open a new bug with some info on your configuration.
